1/2" & 1/3" Varifocal Lenses
Bench Test Report
|
|
Varifocal lenses offer the maximum flexibility for the CCTV installer as they can be adjusted to match the exact scene required by the end user. Once obtained, the view can be fixed by means of the lens locking screws. Computar offer one of the largest ranges of varifocal lenses from a 1.8mm (almost fish eye) to 50mm for close up views. Whatever the application Computar has a varifocal to match your needs.
IR Corrected Varifocal
Commonly known as Day/Night lenses. All of the features of a traditional varifocal lens are available but with the added benefits of IR correction. These lenses are manufactured with a special E.D. glass and lens coating. This combination allows the lens to deliver perfect focus under normal lighting and also under IR illumination.
In general, Computar's range of varifocal lenses either in standard or IR versions offers the installer an extremely wide choice of lenses to match the ever changing installation applications.

Including Manual and Motorised Zoom Lenses
|
|
Zoom lenses differ from varifocals since once they have been set up by the CCTV installer, they will always stay in focus no matter how often the zoom ratio is changed. Zoom lenses give you the ability to view and get close ups of objects to highlight details or identification even when the object is some distance away. These are ideal for covert applications where your camera cannot be installed close to your target.
Manual Zoom lenses
Computar's manual zoom lenses allow the CCTV installer to manually adjust the focal length, iris and focus. Ideal to view areas where you require high quality images with the flexibility of local adjustment. Applications include inspection, machine vision and covert.
Motorised Zoom Lenses
Computar's Zoom lenses are predominantly used in conjunction with pan & tilt units (movable cameras) when the system is controlled remotely by an operator who can automatically adjust the picture to the desired view. These lenses are ideal when covering large areas, but still require the ability to alter the view for identification of images like city centres, Industrial sites, Car Parks and areas of low light.

Mega Pixel & Factory Automation
Bench Test Report
|
|
The Megapixel lenses (high definition) are designed to capture the full resolution of megapixel cameras, providing a high contrast and a sharp picture.
The Wide-aperture (F1.4) design of the Megapixel lenses help to achieve clear images under low light levels. These lenses also provide good image recognition accuracy that is achieved by the reduction of distortion and improvement of illumination uniformity over the CCD sensor. Another important feature is the robust enclosure that is resistant to vibrations and shocks making it ideal for use in Video imaging equipment and machine vision applications.

Fixed focal length lenses offer the CCTV installer fixed images of a scene. These lenses are an ideal solution when the views are known such as a Fire Exit door or an entrance foyer. All Computar fixed focal lenses have a manual adjustment of the focus for crisp clear images and locking screws to hold position. Computar offer an extremely wide range of fixed focal lenses for all types of applications and installations.
